ISO/EN Tests on Requirements for Motorhomes and Caravans
The UNI EN 1645-1 and 1646-1 standards, relating to recreational vehicles, caravans, and motorhomes, specify the requirements that the internal environment of caravans and motorhomes must possess to ensure the safety and health of travelers. These standards illustrate the test methods, taking into consideration the numerous living elements that contribute to safety, such as: access steps, doors, berths, cooking appliances, power supply systems, heating, ventilation.
Particular attention is paid to fire prevention measures. Safety warnings and the instruction manual, which are essential information, must be clearly visible and legible and must be written at least in the language of the country where the vehicle will have its first registration.
